Educational Qualification: The candidate is required to have passed 10th standard or matriculation from a recognized institution or board.
Other Details of Darrang Recruitment
Age Limit: The candidates must not be less than 30 years of age as on 1st January 2022.
Nationality: Candidate should be a citizen of India and a permanent resident of the area in respect of which he/ she seeks appointment.
Property: Candidate should have landed property/ immovable property in his/ her name in the area in which he/ she intends to be appointed as Gaonburah.
Children: Candidate should not have more than 2 (two) living children from a single or multiple partner. Candidate should furnish a self-affidavit that the applicant does not have more than two living children from a single/ multiple partner.
Government Employee: The candidate should not be a government employee.
Political Party: The candidate should not be a member of any political party.

The applications should be submitted in the Standard Form published in the Assam Gazette in Part-IX in a sealed envelope addressed to the Deputy Commissioner, Darrang, P.O. & P.S.- Mangaldai, PIN- 784125.
Applications should be sent either through post or to be delivered by hand in the drop box kept for the purpose in the Land Records Branch, office of the Deputy Commissioner, (DCOffice) Darrang on the working days. Post applied for shall be superscribed on the sealed envelope.

- Age Proof (Birth Certificate/ HSLC Admit Card).
